Fringe Benefits >> New Pink Scarf

In keeping with my "stash busting" goal, I have decided that it was time to use the yarn from a girly gift that I made last month.  The design of this scarf is the result of a lot of brainstorming.  I couldn't hep thinking:  What am I to do with all of this frilly, fuzzy, fluffy pink and purple yarn?

I knew that whatever I ended up knitting, I wanted it to have a bit of an edge and a lot of volume.  After browsing through some pics of 2013 Spring designer duds, I hit upon tassels, which given the nature of the yarn, quickly turned into fringe.

I am pretty in love with the final outcome, and I have learned to accept the fiber fluffs that occasionally roll like tumbleweeds all over me and any one else standing within range.

Also excited to show off one of my favorite thrift store finds (above) and the (me)made dress that I am wearing under warm layers (below).

(Me)Made or (Re)Made >> purple dress, scarf
Thrift(ed) or Free >> jacket, hat, sweater/leggings, socks
Stuff >> boots (not pictured), earrings (hiding under hair)
